hahahaha! a fish indeed!! ;) those pictures you took are awesome. they look like they're straight from a magazine. ...so what became of the octopus?
The octopus was caught in a shrimp pot. They just opened the trap and let him out, and he swam away.
Was it a pentapus? Because those are the best kind.
